Women4Progress is a women-run, Massachusetts-based, private grant-making foundation.

Our vision for the future sees women occupying leadership positions in ever-increasing numbers, with access to first-rate educational and enrichment opportunities acting as the early catalyst for success.

Our mission is to support a broad range of educational and leadership programs that empower women and teen girls from all backgrounds to become highly competent, self-confident and valued leaders in their communities and professions. To that end, we fund gender equity initiatives that equip women and girls with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to succeed.

Our motto “learn, grow, lead, give”, is a call to action to the women and girls who have benefitted from programs funded by W4P, as well as to all women, to mentor, support and promote other women and girls.

Our grants range from $5,000 to $30,000. In selecting grant recipients, we typically favor innovative, narrowly focused programs with well-defined educational or skill-building objectives and with a strong leadership development component.  We prioritize organizations with operating budgets between two-hundred thousand and two million dollars. (W4P does not award grants to individuals or faith-based programs.)
